Known bookaddict

Okay, To all the people, yes it's verified. I'm a real book-addict. Yes it's an actual disease. You read lots of books and sometimes you can't stop thinking about a storyline. I might have the worst case. So that's my life story.
A Fractured Light - Jocelyn Davies Well I actually read a lot of bad reviews about the first book 'A Beautiful Dark". I thought it was ok, it was not spectacular or somthing, it was just a book to get to learn the characters and that's it.

That was why I expected so much from the second book, people already knew about the story so we could get to the juicy part. Well, Huge dissapointment here, it was kinda annoying. It just didn't seem realistic to me, Devin tried to kill her but hey she is still into him. COME ON!
And you had those I love Asher moments but you don't feel the butterflies or the passion when you read it. The love just wasn't there.

But what I totally didn't get was the ending, ik was just like WHAT THE HELL? I mean i get it if she doesn't want to belong with the rebbelions or the Order, but then she gets silver wings and makes her own direction. Just how does she want to rule, who will follow etc. It just hasn't any logic.

And when she got wings and it got all magic and stuff her friends weren't surprised at all. It was like, "Hé i'm actually a sort of angel", "Seriously , cool, Do you want a cookie". It just didn't make sense.

It had good moments too though, i really enjoyed some of the moments with Asher, and the tension with Ian was actually really nice. But I expected a lot from this book and it dissapointed me in many ways. It isn't a book i would higly recommend but if you're bored or something it can be a good read.
